		<description>Ran into this story on BNN and traced it to over here. This is a very interesting perspective and I found the article fascinating.

Perhaps, one of the reasons, I found a lot of this interesting was that I grew up in Pakistan. I lived in Lahore and later Tarbela. Throw in a close friendship with two local friends and I spent some time in Peshawar and the DI Khan/Tank area, also.

I like the manner in which the article was researched using sound journalistic principles, and it presents a unique view that a Westerner would have a hard time expressing.

On a personal level, I think it exposes what I've thought all along, which is that the biggest victims in the latest chapter of the "Great Game" are probably none other than the people of Pakistan, themselves.

The reason, I say this is that there has been too much interference by outside entities on all sides.

Plan to keep an eye on the site and will read the book once it is published if it is available here in the United States.
